Purpose built for exercise

I have just recently received my new MX85's and they are fantastic. I previously had the green MX75's which served me perfectly for over 1,000km's of running. These new orange MX85's are very similar in design with only 2 noticeable differences. The first being the little piece that clips into the top of your ear is softer, giving the new earphones a more comfortable fit overall. Secondly, the stiff wire has been replace by a softer wire in the MX85's. Time will tell if this softer approach will last as long.
Prior to the MX75's, I had tried a lot of different earphones for exercise. I always ended up spending a considerable part of my run either holding one earphone in or readjusting them and it drove me spare. These earphones solved the problem immediately.
I found the best way to use these earphones is to put the wire under my shirt and then use the included clip on my collar to hold the wire in place. I never have to adjust my earphones during a run and the sound quality is outstanding. I don't notice the Bass problems that others have mentioned, but then again, I use these only for exercise.

Money well spent and purpose built for runners!!!
Great for running

I have been looking for earbuds that stay in my ears during my jogs. I saw these in a review against other earbuds in men's magazine last month and they rated out the best for sound and their ability to stay in the ears even when wet.

They work great and are as advertised. I highly recommend them to anyone that worksouts, runs, jogs, etc.
A great fit...

I just received my pair of these very functional headphones. I had been using the standard apple ear buds that came with my iPhone and during my walks I would end up batty from constantly having to push them back into my ears. I selected this set for obvious reasons, and I am happy to say that I am very pleased.

The sound quality is very good, but like any non-plug type ear buds you are not going to get eardrum shattering bass, or even the complete set of mid-range tones, without constant pressure. By testing and exchanging of the different adapters I was able to find a satisfactory quality, which delivers a solid range of sound, and will probably save me from too much hearing loss in the future.

I was not blessed with large ears like my father, however I am an adult male, and found that I still needed to up-size to the larger adapters all around. The ear buds were firmly fixed using the default set, but switching improved the audio quality by providing a tighter fit and somewhat more pressure on the ear bud. I also added the included soft covers which further helped improve audio quality, and provided a more comfortable experience overall. The key here is to experiment and find the right solution for your ears.

At first I was a bit perplexed by the longer right side wire, until I tried them on and quickly realized it should go around back of the neck. Once fitted and clipped, I almost forgot the wire was there. I have probably been living in the stone age as this was a first for me.

I am a bit concerned about construction/durability. The wire is soft and thin, which while aesthetically nice may break easily. The jack seems to be a bit ill-fitting, and generates significant static when moved. The rest of the components seem good.

The included case is made of soft durable rubber which I expect will last a long time. It is clipped with a low power magnet.

If you need an ear bud that will stay firmly and comfortably in your ear while exercising or even just walking, I think you too will find this a great fit.

Incredible

I purchased these about a month ago. I have been looking for a good pair of ear buds and I have finally found them. The fit is perfect for me. Take your time and try out all the different size attachments (comes with many choices). What I hate the most is constantly fidgeting with the ear buds while exercising, because they feel like they are about to fall out, or the sound has changed so you have to wiggle it around to get it back. I do not do that with these. They fit nice and tight, and don't move around while working out in the gym, or running on the track. I also sweat more than most people, and that hasn't effected them at all. I even soaked one of the buds on accident in the water fountain, before I put them in. No problem. The one puzzling thing with them, is that one of the buds is on a longer wire than the other. I couldn't figure out why (not mentioned in the instructions). So I went to the website and found that they are designed to go over one shoulder and behind the neck. So one bud has to be longer. Cool idea, it works well for me in the weight room. No longer worry about the cord dangling i front of me. They are built solid, and sound solid. I highly recommend you try these on for size.
These stay in the best!

I have owned the previous type of this same style earphone, they were green. The twist in disc is much softer on the mx85 offering way more comfort for long rides or long runs. They stay in the best for me in all sport applications I would never buy any other style again. I am not the person to ask about sound quality and base is not a concern for me but to me they sound great. My biggest issue is finding an earphone that does not come out while engaging in many outdoor activities and these don't fall out.
