I buy on average two to three things, mostly electronic items such as mp3 and bluetooth gadgets, per week from Amazon. I never leave feedback. Call me lazy. I had toleave feedback fro this headpiece. I have 5 differnt bluetooth headpieces. The only one that comes close to this one is the one that everyone else seems to like. The Plantronics 510. The bad part of that one is the power button is hard to turn on and off and with a Treo it doesn't always stay connected for some reason. This got it ALL!! Reliable, easy to use, good quality. You want a good earpiece. STOP LOOKING! This is it.

I have just purchased a VMX 100 headset and I am impressed. I have used the Jabra headsets mainly and some of the noise cancelling Sony units, but this is the best headset I have used.

I have been using the headset for a few days and jabra is marginally more comfortable than this. As there is a hinge, you have to position it just right to get long term comfort, but I hardly noticed this issue.

My jabra headset would connect to my phone some of the time. I can turn on\off the headset and it works well with a 6230i.

The headset battery does seem to last very well, however I have not had any long calls yet. Same with the noise cancellation piece. I have not used it in anger yet, but it did work traffic the other day.

The sound quality being received seems very good.

The charger seems to be micro usb, but looks proprietary to me. Hence I don't think I will be able to buy a second Micro USB cable and charge it from my work PC. I've got to hunt around and see if I can get a separate 2nd charger for it (don't hold out hope).

The accept call button is not as easy to use as the jabra (which has it on the back spine of unit as oppose to the front). Again, I am not too concerned as I will get use to this.

Overall, I'm pleased I purchased this instead of the jawbone. The unit is extremly light and does work very well. It would have been nice if they provided a small case (like Sony) or a holdall clip (like jabra), but a small grumble for a very smart gadget.
I like it but it is not for everyone

If you are like me and don't like the types of earpieces that fit inside your ear, this is the earpiece for you. While it does take a little time to fit and adjust onto your ear, once you do, it is very secure and comfortable as it sits over your ear. I especially like the easy way it turns on and off (opening it or closing it) and the easy to feel controls. It works well with my iPhone and the USB style charing cable means I can easily plug it into my usb car charger anytime I need to. the sound is clear enough and people can hear me just fine although people have noted that it sounds a little "stilted" at times. THis must be hte noise reduction kicking in as this seems to be the most pronounced when I have the window open. I like it alot, but having said all this, if you a) do not like the feel of something resting on your ear, or like having any kind of bulk or weight on your ear (it is very light, but it is noticeable) then this is not the earpiece for you. Otherwise I highly recommend this model.
Just what I needed

I like this headset very much. I have a small ear and worried that the portion that fits behind the ear would not be comfortable with my glasses earpiece. However, I've had no problem wearing it for hours. The hinge that allows a customized fit for the ear is also a swivel connector, so the microphone lies flat on the side of your face. Voices sound quite clear, though I do have to speak up a bit to transmit my own voice at a suitable volume. It is also much less visible than headsets of other designs. I've been able to receive calls at least ten feet from my phone, too. The headset's indicator tones are quite pleasant and it is easy to learn to operate.
Finally, ones that works!

I have tried a lot of BT headsets with my BlackBerry and this one is the only one that (1) is loud enough for me in the car or other places with noise, (2) is loud enough for the other party with out me having to speak up, and (3) provides sound quality for the other party that they report is as good as the phone or a wired headset.

Finally! One that works.
